2016 BYU Holiday Track Camp

Come improve your athletic skills!

All Campers will receive great instruction and will have a great time with hands-on instruction. Make plans to join us for a great way to start your 2016 Track season. 

High school Coaches - Coach are welcome to attend at no cost to observe and learn from the camp coaches.  We will teach effective drills and techniques that you can take back to your team.

Camp Coaching Staff:
- Mark Robison (High Jump)
Under the guidance of Coach Robison, the Cougars have won over 20 conference championship in both indoor and outdoor track, including 142 conference champions, 60 All-American awards and 6 National Champions.  He has won 11 conference Coach of the Year awards.

- Kyle Grossarth (Sprints)
Coach Grossarth coaches the sprints and hurdles at BYU.  He has coached numerous athletes to All-American honors.  He has been coaching at BYU since 2013.

- Stephanie Perkins (Hurdles)
Coach Perkins coaches the sprints, hurdles and jumps at BYU.  Her athletes have competed at their highest levels under her guidance.  She has been coaching at BYU since 2013.

- Nik Arrhenius (Throws)
Coach Arrhenius coaches the throws at BYU.  His athletes have competed at their highest levels under his guidance.   A talented athlete (Olympian, All-American and National Champion), he is a veteran of both the World Championships and the Olympic Games.  

- Victor Weirich (Pole Vault)
Coach Weirich follows a string of outstanding pole vaulters at BYU, also earning All-American honors.  His best mark is 5.55 meters, 18 feet 2 1/2 inches. 

NOTE: Pole Vaulters must bring their own pole. If you do not have a pole, you can rent one from BYU for $20. For questions, call Coach Mark Robison at 801-422-3830.

Camp Events:
Events included in the camp include: sprints, hurdles, high jump, pole vault, and throws.  Events NOT INCLUDED: no distance events, nor long jump/triple jump.

Cost?
The cost of the camp is only $95 per person and includes excellent instruction, along with lunch.

Where?
The clinic will be held on the indoor track of the Smith Fieldhouse.  The fieldhouse is one of the finest indoor track and field practice facilities in the west with a 5 lap to the mile track, large high jump apron of Mondo Super X, dedicated pole vault venue, multiple throw rings for shot, discus and weight, and a large throw area for javelin.
