High School Registration
The 2017 BYU Autumn Classic Cross Country Invitational will be held on Saturday, September 16th, at East Bay Golf Course in Provo.
College Teams - The collegiate races will feature: BYU, Weber State, Utah State, Westminster College and Dixie State.
High School Teams - All high school teams in the state have again been invited to participate.
Races - The collegiate men will run a 4 Mile; the women and high schools will run a 3 Mile.
Frost Warning - The golf course tells us that there is a small chance of frost tomorrow morning. While we don't expect that, we must be prepared. If that is the case, the first race will not start until 30-40 minutes after we are cleared to enter the course. We must have time to setup the equipment and be ready.
Course at East Bay - East Bay Golf Course is a championship cross country course. It has been the host site of numerous Mountain West Conference Championships, WAC Conference Championships, and NCAA Mountain Region Championships for more than 20 years. The course is mainly on the Executive Course at East Bay. The surface is all grass. When a cart path is crossed (once), it will be covered for spikes. Splits will be collected at the 1 Mile and 2 Mile marks. Individual and team results at each location will announced and web posted live.

Timing - Timing and results by RunnerCard. The timing for this year will again feature transponder timing. We will collect times at the completion of each 1 mile lap as the runners cross the finish line, in addition to the final time. Each finisher will receive a personal RunnerCard at the end of the race. Results will be posted at the meet and web posted live.
Spikes - Spikes are allowed.
Spectator Admission - Entrance to the Autumn Classic is $6.
Warm-up - The course will open for the athletes beginning at 6:00 am Saturday morning.
Course Review - The golf course is allowing us to review and jog on the facility on Friday evening starting at 6:00 p.m! We thank them!! Please do not go over to the course before that time. There will still be golfers playing, which would create a safety hazard. We greatly desire to be gracious users of the facility. We hope to be able to use the facility each year. This is the first option we have had on the course in many years. Thanks for your support!
